What Are Nightly Notes?

• They're the opposite of Morning Pages.
• So they're written at night instead of first thing in the morning.
• They are typed instead of handwritten,
• They're public instead of private,
• They're guided by questions instead of flowing freely
• A completed entry consists of six questions and six answers instead of three pages
• Since they are public others are allowed to comment on them

• who impressed me the most today? a just-turned-21 year old student in my class: she's in love - making art about it - talking about it - etc, etc. It's useful to know that "love" is still alive and growing
  
• what did I do all day? worked very hard at following my written time map
  
• when did I leave the house today? 4 pm
  
• where did I go today? bus stop, class
  
• why didn't I get more done today? fighting with myself but did okay
